Find out how PixelShine may improve your patient's CT imaging in various applications.
These clinical applications given below are investigational applications/use cases and are outside the scope of current 510(k) clearance”
Pediatric CT scan
Small bodies of children are susceptible to adverse effects of radiation and hence radiologists struggle with the image quality as a result of acquiring the scan at Ultra Low Dose CT (ULDCT). PixelShine may enhance the quality of such scans. See image gallery
CT Perfusion of brain
CT perfusion of the brain requires many successive CT scans in short time frame. PixelShine may offer high quality scans by denoising noisy CT scans. See image gallery
CT scan for abdomen / pelvis
PixelShine may process noisy abdomen/pelvis scans because of its ability to provide superior spatial and low contrast resolution. See image gallery
Lung cancer screening
There are 13M people eligible for lung cancer screening paid for by CMS. Early detection of lung cancer can save lives.
Screening protocols tend to be noisy because of low dose acquisitions. PixelShine may provide enhance quality scans for screening. See image gallery
CT scan of obese patients
Every imaging center has 10 to 15% of the CT scans done for obese patients. The challenge for CT scans for obese patients is that scans are always noisy irrespective of the radiation dose used in acquiring the scan. This poses a challenge for the radiologist and creates cognitive load on the radiologist in reading the noisy scan. PixelShine may improve the quality of noisy CT scans for obese patients. If an imaging center is acquiring Cardiac CT scans at low radiation dose and scans are noisy, then PixelShine may enhance the quality of such noisy scans
Testimonials

Fabulous, very impressive and I am looking forward to using it in my clinic
PixelShine is the type of AI technology that clinicians should be leveraging to improve patient care and reduce radiation dose. PixelShine enables radiology to push the boundaries of technology to minimize radiation risk to our patients.
PixelShine processing of filtered back projection images creates higher quality studies, in a fraction of the time, than our CT scanner can produce with its most recent generation of iterative reconstruction. It is a monumental achievement.
You nailed it when it comes to lung parenchyma! Higher dose reduction, better noise reduction, edges better defined, no artifacts.
“Machine learning tools like PixelShine have the potential to expand low dose CT beyond pediatrics and lung screening. PixelShine could make low dose imaging routine for all applications.”
PixelShine from AlgoMedica is a revolutionary tool in image processing and allows for substantially reduced radiation dose.

If you- have older scanners, screen asymptomatic persons for lung cancer, scan obese patients, conduct pediatric scans- want to offer high quality scans
